Welcome to the 6th Melbourne Scout Group

6th Melbourne Scout Group has a proud 100 year history, and today we are the City of Melbourne’s last remaining Scout Group.

In 2009 we were almost forced to close our doors, but thanks to the resolve of committed Group members we are experiencing strong growth and are looking forward to a bright future. We are committed to continuing a strong and proud tradition of inspiring our children to become conscientious and confident community members.

Our Scouts at Stradbroke Cup 2012

During the Easter weekend, the Stradbroke Cup competition involved 4 nights camping and a busy schedule of day and night time activities.  6th Melbourne was awarded a Bronze award and was named as the best participating Patrol in one of the outdoor activities – we don’t know which one but suspect it involved water and mud!!!  Congratulations to Sam, Jack W, Jack C., Marcus, Justin, Henry S. and Lachlan.
