This is an exciting opportunity for our scouts to participate in and achieve their Air Activities target badge. The Scout Air Activity Target Badge Course is designed to cover the Pioneer and Explorer levels and the majority of the Adventurer level of the Scout Air Activity Target Badge. Participants also have a short flight in a Cessna 172 light aircraft. The aim of this course is for each Scout to achieve the Air Activities Target Badge of their choice. This is accomplished by pre-course work (for explorer levels) followed by the course. Due to time constraints, PLEASE NOTE THIS COURSE MAY NOT COVER ALL ASPECTS OF THE ADVENTURER LEVEL AIR ACTIVITIES TARGET BADGE. However, it will provide you the tools and knowledge to complete the Adventurer Level. We will require parents to arrange transport (obviously if a parent can transport more than once scout it would be appreciated)

To complete the registration for this event you will need:
- participant’s name and scout registration number
- full name, phone number (preferably mobile), and email address of a primary and an alternate parent / guardian
- the participant’s weight
- knowledge of any Medical Management Plans
- knowledge of any special needs including carer requirements
- authority to authorise the participant to fly in a light aircraft, and
- make a $66.50 payment by credit card or debit card for each participant
Timing
Event timings will be confirmed once bookings close and numbers are confirmed. The following information is provided as a guideline based on recent events.
- Pioneer – 9:00am to 12:30pm
- Adventurer – 9:15am to 1:45pm
- Explorer – 10:45am to 2:45pm
- Cub Level 2 – 12:15pm to 3:15pm
