This is an opportunity for Cubs to gain experience in sleeping away from home in tents and learn new skills.
A full fun program from Friday evening to Sunday morning will introduce some Cub Scout skills and provide opportunities to complete some boomerang requirements. Evening programs will include a campfire gathering with songs and skits.
- We will meet at The Pines at 6pm. Assistance with set up would be appreciated.
- 15 Cub Scouts will be attending and camping in the large tourer tents. These tents will allow the use of stretchers that the Cubs will use at Cuboree but a ground mat is fine if not.
- All Cubs must have dinner before arriving as no food will be provided on Friday.
- A Care Monkey profile must be completed and up to date (double check if you filled it in mid last year when first emailed).
- Please hand Camp Fee ($30) and any medication to Lianne on arrival.
- We’re expecting the weather to be fine and the cubs may enter the water so an extra beach towel and clothes will come in handy and I’d suggest sending along a pair of old shoes that can be worn in the water.
- The camp will finish at 12:00pm on the Sunday and the leaders would appreciate any help in packing up that you might be able to provide.
