Troop Council is planning a Troop Camp for all Scouts, from Friday June 3 until Sunday June 5. We will be camping at Pax Hill, a Scouts Victoria camp located in the outer suburbs of Ballarat. There is bush camping, a dining shelter, of course toilet and shower facilities, and also some unique activities located on site.
A detailed program will be prepared by Troop Council and it will include a visit to Sovereign Hill on the Saturday, as well as a walking tour of Ballarat on Sunday. The cost of this camp will be subsidised by Scout fees and so every Scout is encouraged to participate. Cost: $25 includes all food, camping fees and entry to Sovereign Hill.
Transport will be by car to Pax Hill on Friday night, departing the Scout Hall approximately 6:30 pm. Scouts should eat dinner before departing.
On Sunday, Scouts will return by train from Ballarat Railway Station, arriving back in Kensington approximately 4 pm. Ensure your Scout brings their MYKI card.
