Individual Activity Awards & Opportunities

Enid Hookey Adventure Award

This is  an annual award, in memory of Scout Leader Enid Hookey,  given to the individual scout that completed the greatest number of adventurous activities in the year. This could be a combination of

  • KM’s hiked, biked or canoed and nights under canvas.
  • It can also take into account aspects that Enid held dear, such as care for others, patience and interest in others.

This involves an award plaque  hung on the scout hall wall with plates for the winner’s name.

The award will be judged by the Scout leaders in consultation with relevant others.

The award will be judged over a 12-month period from September to August, to be awarded at the Group ARAP.

For the Scout Section there are two Scout Target Badge options – the Award Scheme Days for Individual Scouts which are intended for Scouts who wish to obtain any of the three Scout Air Activity Target Badges, or a Troop Target Badge Day covering one or possibly two target badge levels as part of a Flying Day.
