Melbourne Cup Weekend Camp
This 4-day weekend Camp is both our first end of lockdown camp and also a Jamboree Preparation Camp
Scouts will set up Camp at Rowallan as a practice camp for VICJAM, simulating the 30m x 17m space at Elmore, setting out our perimeter boundaries and building an Entrance gate.
Scouts will cook in Patrols similar to VICJAM, and take responsibility for maintaining food safety and hygiene on camp
FUN Activities will include:
- Gate Building
- Campfire cooking and singing
- Archery
- Mt Charlie Hike and Navigation exercises
- Night Hike
- Low Ropes Course
- Wide Games
- Survival shelters and practice exercises.
- Rope exercise: Lashings, Knots and Splices
COST:$40
DETAILS:
DEPART: Saturday 30th October- Meet at Scout Hall 9am
RETURN: To Scout Hall Tuesday 2nd November, between 11am and 12pm
