Ever wondered if you survive if you were stuck in the bush with only a few items? If so, the Moonee Valley District Survival Camp may be for you!
Over three days and two nights, you will be taught new skills in survival and use many of your existing skills to construct shelters, purify water, make fire, obtain and cook food, navigate and learn how to improve your chances of rescue.
Due to the challenging nature of this event eligible scouts need to attend a compulsory camp briefing on Tuesday 14th September, at 7pm at 1st Strathmore Scout Hall.
Cost: $55
How to book: Ask Richie if you are eligible. Scouts need to be 13 years old and have obtained OAS Level 3 in Bushcraft or equivalent, to attend.
